Our client has a requirement for a new E-learning/Interactive Multimedia Developer.
Position: E-learning/Interactive Multimedia Developer
Start Date: Immediately
Duration: 3 months with possible extensions
Number of Positions: 1 3
Location: Candidate can work from home.
Our Client requires the immediate services of interactive multimedia/e-learning developers who will:
* Participate in a pilot project to create prototypes for a variety of engaging and interactive online learning/information tools.
* Use readily available rapid development e-learning software (e.g., Adobe Captivate, Camtasia Suite, Articulate Suite) to develop prototypes to include video, image, text, flash, and audio elements.
* Assist in building a number of cost-effective e-learning prototypes that can be tested with customers.
* Assess existing client informational material, and help build the most appropriate e-learning formats and approaches.
* Assist the client in selecting e-learning software tools most suitable for ongoing in-house development and maintenance.
Skill requirements:
* Experience building and designing e-learning modules and products
* Proficient in the use of one or more of the following products: Adobe Captivate, Camtasia Suite, Articulate Suite (other relevant software may be considered)

This position is of interest to someone wishing to join a 4-person team providing a full range of support activities to a business user community. This role also includes some tasks normally associated with a DBA role as some tasks involve rescuing a damaged SQL database.
The Technical Support Analyst is a technical specialist with in-depth knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, utilities and subsystems. This position is a Tier II/III level position but includes Tier I level responsibilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and performance management activities ensuring that the system platforms provide service levels required by the applications. The candidate must have experience with customer phone support and have excellent verbal communication and written skills.
The Technical Support Analyst has a proven ability to motivate and work both independently and in a team environment. The candidate must have a talent for analyzing problems, developing and simplifying procedures and finding innovative solutions. The Analyst is a self starter and is able to prioritize regularly scheduled service activities along with urgent, often unscheduled, support requests with a high level of responsiveness.
The Technical Support Analyst is responsible for:
1. Maintain production SQL Server databases using Microsoft SQL Server 2000 which includes data fixes, query knowledge and database administration
2. Managing server/desktop hardware, operating systems and host applications. This includes administration, installation and problem resolution.
3. Managing system changes and tools. This includes installing, activating, verifying, performing change back-out and recovery.
4. Developing and publishing server/workstation backup and recovery procedures.
5. Maintaining Company's Wide Area Network which includes over 300 sites connected via VPN technologies. Must create and maintain detailed documentation of systems and Network infrastructure.
6. Perform preventative maintenance activities on all systems.
7. Assisting in the development, testing and maintenance of the IT disaster recovery procedures.
Requirements:
Essential Platform and Software Knowledge:
1. Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server & T-SQL (Oracle Associated database maintenance, support and query knowledge is an asset).
2. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Window Server/Desktop Operating Systems
3. Strong knowledge of Network Infrastructure, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, WINS etc.
4. Familiarity with switches and routers
Education:
The Technical Support Analyst has a technical school degree or equivalent. Microsoft certification is preferred, but not required based on level of experience.
Experience:
The Technical Support Analyst has 3-5 years of experience in a technical support and training environment. A good understanding of the business, industry and technical trends is an important asset to this position.

A Senior Project Engineer is responsible for the planning and execution of multiple projects and resources. The qualified candidate must have 7 years of professional experience with the last three employed in a management position. This person would be responsible for the design, operations and maintenance or commissioning of over 200,000 square feet of projects. Hands-on experience should include working with steam management, steam distribution systems, and at least 5 years experience working with absorbers, chillers, boilers, and air ventilation balancing systems. Responsibilities will also include project schedule coordination and the assistance in management of the team work flow, project deliverable management, supervision of test plan creation, supervision of final report preparation and to manage field activities of team members. Time and expense management of their assigned engineers as well as providing guidance and knowledge to those engineers is included in this role.
