Description:

The Technical Support Analyst is a technical specialist with in-depth knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, utilities and subsystems. This position is a Tier II/III level position but includes Tier I level responsibilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and performance management activities ensuring that the system platforms provide service levels required by the applications. The candidate must have experience with customer phone support and have excellent verbal communication and written skills.

The Technical Support Analyst has a proven ability to motivate and work both independently and in a team environment. The candidate must have a talent for analyzing problems, developing and simplifying procedures and finding innovative solutions. The Analyst is a self starter and is able to prioritize regularly scheduled service activities along with urgent, often unscheduled, support requests with a high level of responsiveness.

The Technical Support Analyst is responsible for:

1. Maintain production SQL Server databases using Microsoft SQL Server 2000 which includes data fixes, query knowledge and database administration
2. Managing server/desktop hardware, operating systems and host applications. This includes administration, installation and problem resolution.
3. Managing system changes and tools. This includes installing, activating, verifying, performing change back-out and recovery.
4. Developing and publishing server/workstation backup and recovery procedures.
5. Maintaining Company?s Wide Area Network which includes over 300 sites connected via VPN technologies. Must create and maintain detailed documentation of systems and Network infrastructure.
6. Perform preventative maintenance activities on all systems.
7. Assisting in the development, testing and maintenance of the IT disaster recovery procedures.

Requirements:

Essential Platform and Software Knowledge:

1. Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server & T-SQL (Oracle Associated database maintenance, support and query knowledge is an asset).
2. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Window Server/Desktop Operating Systems
3. Strong knowledge of Network Infrastructure, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, WINS etc.
4. Familiarity with switches and routers

Education:

The Technical Support Analyst has a technical school degree or equivalent. Microsoft certification is preferred, but not required based on level of experience.

Experience:

The Technical Support Analyst has 3-5 years of experience in a technical support and training environment. A good understanding of the business, industry and technical trends is an important asset to this position.

Senior C# Middle-tier Developer

Responsibilities:

* Uses a wide variety of techniques and tools in the design, development, and testing of software applications. This includes the use of: programming languages and software tools, analysis and design techniques, middleware, data access and retrieval, etc.
* At least 8 years experience as a SW Developer with 4 plus years experience with .NET supporting business development and computer applications

* Determines and recommends appropriate technologies in support of business processes and objectives, including component, client/server, internet and intranet architectures. Has an in-depth understanding of technologies in use for integration projects

* Provides technical support and direction in business application requirements definition, alternatives analysis, design, development, and implementation activities, as appropriate

* Ensures the use of common processes, practices and tools consistent with technology standards and direction

* Prepares system installation and maintenance documentation.



Skills:

* Must have excellent C# middle-tier development experience

* Experience with enterprise level integration projects. Experience integrating SAP is desired, but not required

* Experience with remoting is highly desired along with web-service development. WCF (Windows Communication Framework) experience is highly desired, but not required

* Experience with multi-threaded operations is highly desired, but not required

* Experience with ADO.NET and data access techniques

* Experience with Winforms is a plus, but not required

* Bachelor of Science in a technology-related field (or equivalent job experience)

Senior Project Manager

Project Manager for a SAP HR application with Taleo Talent Management System. Responsible for the management of large, complex projects and project teams made up of client and partner/alliance resources to deliver solutions and services to clients. This position interacts closely with the project managers, client, partners and alliances to define the project scope and to develop detailed project artifacts as defined by the PMO Methodology.


Responsibilities

* Manages all aspects of large and complex projects related to Teradata Business Intelligence.

* Manages the software development lifecycle including project scope, schedule, resources, quality, costs and change

* Translates project requirements into project objectives and tasks, managing task assignment to project resources and reporting on and managing project scope throughout the lifecycle

* Develops detailed project schedules, resource plans, status reports and influences the effectiveness of a team that integrates multiple functions/disciplines

* Conducts project meetings, sets and manages client expectations by exercising complex Risks, Issues and Change

* Management best practices

* Interfaces with all areas affected by the project, including end user, services organizations, vendors and implementations partners.

* Review project deliverables for accuracy and apprises management of issues effecting project status and offers solution to solve the issues

* Ensure satisfactory transfer of custody and control of product upon completion (handoff) and close all project documentation and archive appropriate record

Secondary Duties /Responsibilities

* Leads in the coaching and mentoring of other project managers on expectations, deliverables and overall project control

* Creation and support of standards, processes and procedures which are instituted as best practices

* Confidently makes presentations to large and executive audiences

* Act as liaison between all functional groups

* Develop lessons learned documentation

* Tracks and monitors change board and remedy requests

Qualifications

* Experience with SAP HR or Taleo Talent Management

* Expert understanding of MS Office Tools (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Visio)

* Expert understanding of Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) Discipline (Integration, Scope, Time, Cost, Quality, Human Resources, Communications, Risk Management, Procurement)

* Expert understanding of software development project lifecycles

* Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize work, multi-task across many assignments and delegates

* Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on an existing set of complex projects

* Expert technical writing skills producing clear and unambiguous deliverables

Experience:
