Her older sister, Wei-lan, much more provincial and conservative, has overshadowed her since they were kids. Now that Wei-lan is making her first visit to the States, Ya-ching expects to finally be treated as an equal because of her ‘vast’ experience in the big city. When Wei-lan immediately begins treating her like an inferior, Ya-ching plans to get even by giving her sister the worst possible advice about how to ‘fit in’ in America. The series follows their experiences in and around the city. As for the leads, Ya-Ching and Wei-Lan, we are looking for actresses with knowledge of the subject matter. The country of origin of the characters is China.
